So we're the only ones Neil?

It's just too silly a name for, um, I guess anything. Unless it has chocolate chips and marshmallows or it has a big clown on the bag :P

Skywalker sounds dramatic (like Neil said).

Cookie Crisps sound yummy.

Dooku sounds... maybe they should have called him Krusty.

Or Snape :)

Harry, Harry, Harry. Are you missing the obvious.

Dooku is similar to, and pardon my french, "SHIT".

Joe, who bets Harry once had a dookie in his diapers.

Dooku just does not sound like the name of a villain. Darth Tyrannus does.

That's why I like it, remember the scene where Yoda says Master Dooku? Very funny. I like it because the name is like a parody of bad guy names, and it seems intended from that yoda scene.

That was hilarious, Harry.

Joe - even funnier.

Dooku is right up there with "Sio Bibble" and "Mace Windu".......weird names that only that genius Ewok can come up with.

Dan - who was "Danco Cacor, Arexplorer of Excedrin" according to a Find-Out-Your-Star Wars-Name quiz online a few years ago.

Dan2 - quasi-embarrased to admit that

Pretty sure Dooku is the Suriname word for 'Money'.

Not sure about the spelling.

Vader is the dutch word for "father", btw.

Stefancos- who wonders if lucas did that on purpose, giving hints to the Luke/Vader relationship by naming his black villian "father" in some obscore language. :o

That would've been cool! But E.T. should be the first to make a super cameo. He and Yoda should be walking around, talking about their reckless childhoods.

Dan - who loves the "Trade Federation March"

:( "Love Pledge and The Arena" from Attack Of The Clones

On the Christopher Lee interview Ricard linked to, Lee said something that made me appreciate "Dooku" a bit more--he said it's close to the Japanese word for "poison" (doku or something like that). That's pretty cool and in line with Sidious, Maul, Tyrannus, Bane.

The most assinine Lucas name of the latest bunch would have to be, for my money, Dexter Jettster (the big alien in the malt shop). Jettster obviously and transparently comes from Lucas' son Jett. Might as well throw darts at a board to name characters. There's that Sleezbagano name too (the death sticks dealer)... Ugh.

Count Dooko is fine. Darth Tyrannous is corny just like Darth Maul.

Justin -Who finds them all cool none the less. :music:

regardless of what the name Dooku sounds like or means I can tell you one thing.

If he showed up wielding his light saber I know I would say

OH SHIT

Yes! Very good, Joe! I would too!

E.T. is one of my favorite movie characters, and yes, it would have been fun for Yoda and him to be in a scene talking in the background or something.

Let's just be thankful Pepsi Co. didn't go with their first merchandising idea of the "Baby Dooku" bar.

I'm not sure I heard about this? Anyone care to explain? Thanks!

I loved that! I want there to be more.

And Joe: I love Dooku's lightsaber. It's my favorite. Did you notice how it's really sleek and curved?

I loved it!

Dan - loving a lot today

I don't care if I can build one or not. I just want Dooku's.

Maybe after Anakin kills him, he'll give it to me.

Dan - always hopeful for the unattainable

wondering if Ren will react to this track....

I hit my head and my knees and it hurt my back, but I didn't have a scratch on me, thankfully. My car -- a different story. I drive a Ford Explorer and it was on the street, facing my best friend who was following me in my Mom's car. We had just picked up my car from the shop, too!!

But the funny thing is: my CD never skipped! "The Imperial March" kept going at it through it all!

Dan - who remembers all the scores that were playing each time he's been hit. (Yes......each time he's been hit........)
