Are you sure that isn't John Williams? :)

I'm quite impressed with that. I've been toying with either taking up piano or guitar. I think I'm leaning more towards guitar now.

The music is great! Thanks for the link Alex.

If he decides to release an album someday, I'll be in line to buy one. :)

Nice job!! My best friend plays guitar, and is a Star Wars geek like us, I forwarded him this and he was floored. He says that it's pretty difficult to what we just heard.

I don't see how, if you're a good enough player, it shouldn't be.

I can play the piano, and there are some pieces that I can play to blow peoples minds (Rhapsody in Blue ..parts of..., Moonlight Sonata Movement 3...etc..) but are pretty easy once you get the fingering down.

Nice to listen to, however I always prefer the piano than the guitar.

Not the violin though. I love that.

Not only does he play it very well but he does his own transcribtions.

He did a great job! I wish I had the time to sit down at the piano and do some stuff like this, unfortnately I don't. Nor do I have a piano! I guess that would be the most important first step!

That Final Fantasy piece is also great.

I agree, my favorite out of the three he posted there, I've put that message board in my favorites now to see what his next recordings will be

Hope he honors the request to do the Schindler's List theme with classical guitar

But that one already exists on the soundtrack ;)

Performed by none other than John Williams himself.

EDIT: I mean, it exists on John Williams Plays The Movies:

I hope he does less obvious stuff. And John Williams' version is plenty. ;)

Good idea. He has gotten so many positive eMails that he decided to make a CD with Williams covers.

But is there not also a guitar solo in the soundtrack to Schindler's List?

There were some violin solos, though.

You sure? I thought they were Tuba solos. Yeah it just says "Tuba Solo's by Bob"

Although the street vender did say it was the genuine article. ;)

That's what I meant... I think it's in the track "Give me your names" or "Stolen memories", not sure. But it's definitely there, and beautiful.
