What do you mean "would have been"? The nominations aren't decided yet.

I certainly think that PoA is worthy of a nomination, if only because it's very likely the last score by JW for the HP series.

Also, I hope JW gets nominated (and wins) a BEST SONG oscar. I think he's been nominated twice in that category before (Home Alone and Hook; nothing else comes immediately to mind), but has never won, which is a shame!!!

Probably not, as Williams doesn't write lyrics and he's probably not very good at them. Perhaps Bricusse could (and we'd get another sappy "When You're Alone"). Or even better, Joseph Williams could write them.

I would like to see Williams write his own stuff. A song in Japanese for Geisha would be an awesome way to win Best Music - Original Song!

From what I understand of Academy rules, "Double Trouble" in not in the nomination list because don't have original lyrics.

As for songs nominations, Williams as quite more than just two... Five to be exact (Nice to be Around from Cinderela Liberty; If We Were in Love from Yes Giorgio; Moonlight from Sabrina, plus the two already mentioned).
