The Death of Jerry Goldsmith, a very sad event since many here are fans of his music, it really shook me up, but it's not THE defining moment this year.

My own banning was overhyped, by a hysterical membership, unsure that the Forum would survive without me.

The death of Ricard's father is very sad, but did not influence the MB much, since there is nothing to debate about.

The Great Board Exodus was nothing more then 3 or 4 people leaving for a while (they have all resumed posting, Miguel was missed, but the others should have stayed away as far as i'm soncerned)

There was no post count war between me and Morn, I simply posted more then him, and he was impotent to stop me.

The original SW trilogy DVD release was another big one, mostly because of the serious errors made when it comes to the music in Star Wars, we got to know our Moderator as a frenzied, obsessive fanboy, always dogging the powers that be, confronting them with their screw ups.

The comming of TommyJohnson???...pleaaaassse!

We have hundreds of people who post here, Tommy is just another overenthusiastic newbie, like Questionmarkman was, or Harry Potter.

The OFFICIAL JWFAN Boston meet up was THE defining moment of JWFAN.NET.

Several members, including our moderator got together, attended 2 concerts conducted by Williams himself, met him and gave him a card

We have a winner here.

sigh

I voted for Goldsmith, that's the biggest thing I can remember of this year

For me it's between Goldsmith's death, the PoA release, the GoF news, the Star Wars DVDs, and the Boston meet-up.

But in the end, I too think the Official JWFan Boston Meet-Up is the correct choice. :(

I voted for the death of Golsmith.

Then the death of Ricard's dad, then the death of Christopher Reeve.

What a shitty year this has been for that...

My arrival was't a 2004 event, since I've been visiting this MB from fall 2002

Did you think I was voting for myself? Come on, don't be ridiculous!!

I know I'm probably your favourite poster who had registered in 2004, and the best, but I think the Boston meeting was much important!!

We have hundreds of people who post here, Tommy is just another overenthusiastic newbie, like Questionmarkman was, or Harry Potter.

I'm not overenthusiastic, I think I'm only here for share my love for JW with whoever wants.

And I'm not a newbie neither, Stefan. It's almost a year I'm posting here, but I visit the MB from fall-end 2002, so you're wrong now... :(

The biggest event for JWFan was the Boston meet up of course. Although I think Goldsmith's passing was the most important to me.

Justin - Who voted for Boston because it answers the poll better.

I voted for the JWFan meetup............

even though I wasn't there.

(sigh)

A now a little self acclaim...... Just imagine how much more wonderful it would've been, if I were able to get those who went in to see Williams!

I tried..... you know I tried.

And failed.

Well damn. :music:

TJ's arrival was second for me.

Pffftt....

Nonsence,it only concerns 4 people here.Like my visit to Crushers wasn't the defining MB moment of 2001.It's not like they convinced JW to release a complete TOD during that meeting with him(which they should have of course)

I say it was the release of the PoA score, more persicely the AOL listening party.

Rubbish, your visit to Chrusher was a abomination after you were chased out by his Mother and nearly eating by the flesheating turtles.

The Boston meetings were the coming together of several important MB member, including Neil, our Moderator.

Did you and Chrusher see John Williams in person?

Did you a Chrusher place a call to The Netherlands to congratulate me for my birthday?

It's not like they convinced JW to release a complete TOD during that meeting with him(which they should have of course)

You know as well as I do that Williams has no say in the matter.

I say it was the release of the PoA score, more persicely the AOL listening party.

Hardly, the "Shastokovic" listening party was a lot more important, though for the wrong reasons.

Indeed. We're all waiting for you, Mr. Matessino...

I hope everything's gonna be alright after Indy 4.

Or before!!

With "alright" I mean the release of the complete Indy trilogy and possibly, the DVDs with the iso-score, but this is for another thread! :music:

I'm sure Mr. Mattesino is dying to get his hands on this project.

It's either Lucasfilm or Paramount that needs convincing.

I believe that Mr. Mattesino is on record stating his desire to do the Indy Trilogy, Hook, and Harry Potter. :music:

I must concur.

Morlock- who's currently planning a Tanglewood 2005 trip

As do I, Dr. Harris. Tanglewood? Cool. I may not be in Boston for the summer, though.

-Diskobolus, who is back at home after a hellish semester, and enjoying every second of his vacation
