Sugar Blues - Some Like It Hot

I have placed several posts in the past concerning the song Sugar Blues from Some Like It Hot. Williams was definately involved with the score (although he didn't compose it), but I am still convinced he did write the song Sugar Blues.

However no site or source confirmes this (except the Dutch film magazine Score, which is, the longest running soundtrack magazine in the world).

Can anyone else confirm that Williams is indeed the composer? There is a soundtrack edition out there with the song on it and it credits Williams and someone else as the composers.

Sugar Blues is credited to a Williams and Fleatcher. Now, you should remember that are a number of other Williams working on the big band genre.

Persoanlly, I think this isn't our John Williams. The only confirmed crdit of John Williams on Some Like it Hot is as orchestrator and session pianist.

I JUST FOUND THE ANSWER!!

Sugar Blues was NOT composed by John Williams!

I was WRONG!

It was co-composed by CLARENCE Williams in 1919.

Sorry!

This thread, worse than the Illiyawhatzit thread? Worse than the Sexual Orentation thread? Worse than the Good-Bye thread? Worse than the Cartoon Scores thread?

It's got a long way to go yet.
