Sometimes I watched Buffy, Dark Angel, X-Files, Baywatch, Relic Hunter, C.S.I., The O.C., Dawson's Creek, but not enough to say "I'm a fan of this series!" I feared the other guy with two bionical arms)Planet of the Apes (I was so into this "ape" thing)Star Trek The Original Series (it took me to other parts in the galaxy)Kung Fu (I wanted to be David Carradine. Everyone wanted to be him)The Avengers (stylish and spectacular )Alias Smith & Jones----------------Alex Cremers

Mr. Breathmask 555
Yes. 10 years ago, The Simpsons would've kicked South Park's ass, but these days, with The Simpsons having lost every last shred of comedy, and South Park being sharper than ever, there's only one true winner. South Park all the way.
John McClane 1
South Park is funny if you watch it 1-2 minutes in a day. It's only bad words and bad words again. The Simpsons are (or were) thousands of times better than South Park!EDIT: Beavis & Butthead are bad words only too, but at least there were some metal video to joke with! Also, B&B was a short show, just 10-15 minutes every episode.
Morlock 11
Watching the classic episodes solidifies The Simpsons place on the top there. Aside from that? Here are shows I was at one point or another addicted to and don't regret it: The Sopranos (season 5 was amazing) 24 (Season 2 only, 1 was ridicules, 3 sucked) E.R. (The early seasons were good, as I recall) Dallas (MAN was I hooked on this. I wanted to be JR.) Oz (was the most gutsy show on TV) Who's Line is it Anyway (The most side splitting laughs I've ever experienced) The Office (Brilliant, brilliant show, so eery in how right it gets it) Malcom In The Middle That 70's Show Friends M.A.S.H Seinfeld Will & Grace And many, many, many more that I don't remember (most of them on purpose)

Mr. Breathmask 555
Oh yeah, Malcolm in the Middle is awesome as well.BTW, I think anyone who discards South Park as being just a string of cuss words just doesn't get it. It's the sharpest and funniest satire currently on television IMO.

JoeinAR 1,949
I repeat, South Park is quite funny, but if you leave the bad words, it's an empty cartoon.then you don't get its satire, because its funny inspite of the bad words. Its a social satire, the simpsons is something I've never been able to sit through an entire episode.
John McClane 1
You don't like The Simpsons and you like South Park?!? This is definitely a mad mad world!!! South Park can be funny, but its jokes aren't genial and smart as the Simpsons' jokes. Basically SP is a good idea of a cartoon, but IMO is bad developed by the authors. They should learn from Matt Groening and his team.

Morlock 11
The Simpsons should have been killed off several years ago. 10 years would've been a nice round number. I'd like to contradict this statement. Morlock- who would've liked it to end after season 11, with the best 22 episodes of the next 4 seasons put together as the 12th seasons. Mr. Breathmask 555
Alright then. I must admit I don't recall much that came after year 10 precisely, so I just picked that as a nice round number.
