If you watch either one of those two with no surrounding story, then they're pretty bad methinks.Even with the surrounding story they suck. Padme will survive and turn out to be Mon Mothma (this will be covered in EU). Finally, I'm pretty sure Palpatine is a clone of Darth Sidious.
