The Pops updated their schedule. Conductor not listed but mentions a Golden Years program.

Damn it! I was expecting the world premiere of a full Star Wars Symphony.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for Tanglewood...

Well, what we knew was that the conductor was pending. It was only recently that a non-Williams program was announced.

I guess I'll see you at Tanglewood. Hopefully we'll be able to get to meet Williams to get stuff signed without being blocked by that arrogant guard we saw last year...

I would go to Tanglewood, if the seats weren't so crappy. I don't want to be forced to sit on the grass far far away from the stage. Plus, I am not sure if I'll ever enjoy the acoustics as compared to B.S. Hall.

Well you can buy lawn tickets up until the hour before the performance, those are unlimited. The shed tickets are limited, though, but it's not too hard to get them if you call in right away.

Well if Williams ain't doing a concert in London then he certainly should not do one in Boston!

Here, Here! I second my esteemed colleague's motion!

Hitch, who was thinking about going to Boston in 2005 but instead is going to sun-drenched Rhodes! Sun, sea, sand and sex. And a little bit of murder thrown in!

On Film Night, even lawn tickets can be sold out, as they were when I went in August 2003.

Hmm, I didn't know that. Generally it's easy to get lawn tickets though, because they won't sell out for a while. It's risky if you try to get them the day of.

Granted, most of the estimated 18 000 people that were on the lawn for Film Night 2003 were there because of Josh Groban. I don't know how many there were last year, though.

Still, I would recommend getting shed tickets, especially if you're going to be driving many hours (in my case 4) and don't want to end up watching the concert from 250 yards away in the rain...
