Docteur Qui 1,248
Wow! If I had the money I'd buy that no worries! I was thinking of saving up for Garritan Personal Orchestra, but if I hear some samples from this and like it I could probably wait and save up some more. Composer_Fan 2
Wow, I need to invest in something like that, rather than the crap software I have now. The LSO is great!
David Coscina 3
The only concern I have along with many other orchestral sample guys, is that 8,000 samples isn't that much compared to Vienna Symphonic Library which touts over 1.5 million samples.....still, it's worth a listen
hoby12 0
I am pretty sure LSO is what Hanz and JNH have been using for these many years. The famous overblowing horns.......

My guess it's targeted at the same market as Garritan. It's some kind of "user-friendly" plugin which should be fun for your laptop. Of course, the LSO and Abbey Road studios are impressive names but the sample amount just isn't adequate to compete with the pro libraries out there.----------------Alex Cremers
David Coscina 3
Yup, Alex, that's my concern- unless they found a way to maximize sample memory to quality. Obviously we'll see when it is released. I hope they will be offering a competitive cross-grade from Finale since that's my current weapon of choice- along with EWQLSO Gold Edition. Nemesis 125
I just heard the demo clip on their site http://www.notionmusic.com/products.cfmSorry, but for this price it sounds really lousy
krosstj 0
My EWQLSO Gold Edition sounds WAAAAAAAAY Better actually. Sibelius and EWQLSO then to Cubebase:) Can't beat that setup right now.
David Coscina 3
How do you control Gold from Sibelius? I use Finale and cannot use the two together....And yes, for the price, Notion bites the big one.
krosstj 0
How do you control Gold from Sibelius? I use Finale and cannot use the two together....Vitrual Midi Cables, Like Midi Pipe. DO a google, it will explain everything and its free. I just can't remember the steps. Basically you download a small (VERY SMALL) program (FREE) and you do like a midi pipe 1 output from you Gold kontempt player and a Midi Pipe 2 input from Sibelious (FINALE)
