Re-evaluating Thomas And The King

The song from Yes Giorgio is okay.  More memorable than anything from Thomas and the King.

What is this nonsense about Williams not being able to write "songs"?

if the underscore was recorded separately from the lyrics I'd love an underscore album only

JW recorded an instrumental version of "If we were in love" with the Boston Pops. It's the only version you need. It's great without lyrics!

I think he meant Thomas and the King. There is an instrumental version of If We We’re in Love at the end of the YG OST.

yeah all instrumental Thomas and the King. I can hear some great underscore yearning to be heard properly.

It's full of regal sounding music with sparkling orchestrations.

I'd happily buy and listen to a quality release of this which had the proper context to change my mind, but the existing album remains handily the worst thing in my JW collection.  It's not even as good as John Goldfarb.
