RomanticStrings 10
I just bought Goldsmith's score for Timeline. I hadn't realized that they released it, but I'm glad that they did. The last track is called "To My Friends," I believe. I just wanted to know if that is the last released CD of the last music that Goldsmith wrote. If it is, then that is a very fitting way to finish. I was starting to well up thinking of that. Very good music.~Conor
John Crichton 4
I don't know if it was the last released CD, but it wasn't his last score. Goldsmith's last score was Loony Toons: Back in Action. Very appropriate title for that last track on Timeline, though.EDIT- Well, according to the chronology on the Goldsmith tribute on the main page Timeline was after Loony Toons. I thought it was the other way around.
stewdog1 50
Timeline was done before Looney Toons. However, the rejected CD came out after Looney Toons.

Jim Ware 526
Timeline was recorded in December '02 & March '03. Looney Tunes was recorded in August '03.
Hitch 57
Timeline was a great rejected score. Shame about the movie and the short running time of the CD. Was this Jerry's complete score? Or are Varese holding out for a 2 CD DELUXE EDITION???

TheRuleOfThirds 0
I just bought Timeline the other day too. It's pretty cool. Even though of the Jan 25th Goldsmith releases, I liked GTR better. Of course, I haven't really listened to TL much, either. GTR's such a unique score, because it sounds so much like Williams and it's just a different kind of score for Jerry. Especially for that period, amongst classics like Alien, TMP, and Poltergeist. #SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 10,265
I can hear nothing Williams in GTR, I can hear a tiny bit of Aliens in it though.
John Takis 206
Timeline is Goldsmith's last completed score. He was unable to finish LT:BIA due to health complications and last-minute re-cutting, and John Debney was brought in to do the final reels.GTR always reminded me of Mancini, especially the bouncy main title. Unlucky Bastard 7,782
These damn CDs are so hard to find, and if you do find them, you have to pay through the nose. I've been searching endlessly in CD stores for Timeline and Looney Tunes: Back In Action with no luck.
jgraves 0
I just sold my copy of Timeline for $9 on eBay two days ago. Guess you didn't look hard enough. I got the complete score to replace it, BTW.Jason
