David Coscina 3
I transcribed this piece to demonstrate the Roland RD300SX digital stage piano Grand Piano patch on another board and figured my fellow John Williams enthusiasts would like to hear it. Beautiful theme. One of my favorites from Williams in recent years.http://forums.keyfax.com/user-files/173171...lue%20Fairy.mp3

King Mark 2,924
Thank you,I love it....you skipped a few measures in the beginning of the theme.K.M.
David Coscina 3
Yes, that's true. But my transcriptions are from ear alone. I listen, then I play. I don't notate although I could if I ever had to. The trickiest thing about Williams is his chord voicings. I notice he uses 1st and 2nd inversions a lot more than root position chords. Sometimes he'll have the root in the middle of a chord which sometimes obscures the harmony a bit.
fommes 126
Great job David!(I'd be very interested to play that myself - could I trouble you with a request for the partitions? Thanks very much!)

TownerFan 4,548
Every time I hear this theme I'm moved to tears... really, even now. Probably this is John Williams' most heart-wrenching theme ever. And one of my all-time favourite as well. Thanks for this, David! And congrats for your sensitive playing. David Coscina 3
Here's a bit of the transcription. I simplified the left hand part in some places where I would normally use arpeggiations.
