Morlock 11
As big a JW fan as I am, I am rather ashamed to say I don't own any of his concert works. Going through Amazon to bridge this gap, I found the Classic Yo-Yo CD, the Yo-Yo Ma collection. On it, it has the tack listed as a JW piece called 'The American Collection'. What precisely is this piece?
Seth 67
This is a theme from Masterpiece Theater. I believe he recorded it in the fall of 2001 with members of the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
Mari 279
It's the theme music for the PBS American Classics portion of Masterpiece Theatre. The music reminds me a bit of American Journey and I think the CD is worth getting just for that piece. According to the CD notes, it was recorded with the Recording Arts Orchestra of Los Angeles/John Williams.Kathy, who likes the inclusion of a small homage to the original Masterpiece Theatre theme music by Mouret

Seth 67
Oops. My mistake; I thought I had read somewhere that he did it with the BSO.
