I would say I "groove" to film music, or any music in general that is fast or heavy, but headbanging always seemed to be excessive. When I was around 18, I had hair passed my shoulders, and I always felt self-conscious if I started to headbang.

I don't headbang. I heard you lose brain cells when you do that.

But I air-conduct, like alot of other JW fans. I wield my invisible baton and lead my invisible LSO, lol. Quidditch, Third Year is my favorite song to "conduct".

This is what happened to me when I head-banged to PSYCHO - the head-banging score to end all head-banging.

Only when it's one of those crazy porno film scores! Jeez, those things are rhythmic. Not that they don't need to be though! 8O

I know this is kind of off subject, but did anyone see the Family Guy episode when they were at the Oscars or somethign and the next award was for best adult film score? They showed a cartoon version of Ron Jones (appropriate, considering he's written a lot of music for the show) and John Williams! I loved it! Williams was conducting a full-sized orchestra of course, and the score was built upon the Leitmotiv idea! Or so it would seem from the short clip that played. I just thought it was nice, fake, head-banging music composed by a cartoon version of Williams.

I air-conduct with my mechanical pencil, and tap my finger when I don't have one.

You ought to take it to Savile Row in London. Great tailors. Makes me a great 52 waist trousers.

LOL

Ya I like to air conduct, hum along, "groove," move my head to the beat, and ocasionally headbang.

Headbang? No.

But most of the other stuff, yes. I'm especially guilty of air conducting. Especially since I don't know the slightest thing about conducting. I just wave my arms around to the music. :spiny:
