At the moment I've got a pair of Altec Lansing 221's but the lack of bass control is annoying me...

I've listened to some Altek lansing systems.The best one to my ears was the MX-5021.Seemed to have abit more detail in the music than the FX6021.

That one,it's even THX certified.I don't usually think computer system sound good,except that one.

As far as I've read (never compared them myself), THX usually means that the speakers sound good for films and bad for music.
