A few days ago a friend got me the soundtrack to Groundhog Day and I have to say, It's fantastic! I never really expected it to be. Tracks like "The Kidnap and the Quarry" were especially good.

Is this the movie whene Bill murray get 'trapped in time' (as the movie is called in Spain).

It was funny  ;)

Are groundhogs the same as marmots?

That is a very broad covering re-title for a movie as the movie revolves around one day only, Groundhog Day, because they could also use "Trapped In Time" for Back to the Future. The original title of GHD sounds so much better. BTW, did they change the name of the Back To The Future films as well?

I think the original working title for Back to the Future Part II was "Paradox".

Indeed it was. For the simultanious production of part II and part III, actually.

Also, the working title of E.T. was Boy Meets Alien if I'm not mistaken (I think there's a reference to this in Gremlins).

BTW, they're showing Groundhog Day on TV tonight. I'll pay some attention to the score if I watch it.

(hmm, they're showing E.T. right before - looks like I've found my channel for tonight)

Nope, direct translation would be "Return to the Future" but its a synomyn, and sounds better than the direct translation from the english.
