Luke Skywalker 1,284
I just read lightly some of the 'GL interviews', they are so fake. And Mara Jade is Timothy Zhan's invention (i dont think GL baptised her). And in 30 years, 7000 jedi already? come on! Ther maybe just 10000 in the prequels (with a 1000 year background) And there are som many things lifted up from the books, which GL has nothing to do (said even in one of the supposed inerviews)This guy has must free time.He should write a book instead of useless mumbo jumbo. #SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 10,251
It makes sense for those poor farmers on Tatooine to mimmick the posh Jedi-look.There's probably a whole Huttenese clan there controlling the selling of cheap Jedi-look clothing. Lurker 5
That mistake was made in the OT already, so its nothing new. It's not a mistake in Star Wars. Ben was hiding on Tatooine, ergo he's going to wear the clothes that everyone wears there to blend in and be inconspicuous. The emperor does wear a jedilike cloak as well. Here's the deal in Star Wars: Vader wears Jedi clothes because he is a Jedi. Obi-Wan wears desert clothes because he's hiding in the desert and probably doesn't want people to know he is a fugitive. Also it's probably comfortable. I'll blame Jedi, as everything is Jedi's fault, because Anakin is clearly wearing desert clothes at the end and this became the de facto clothing for the Jedi in the prequels, ignoring what Star Wars had already shown us.Neil

JoeinAR 1,759
I want to know absolutely everything that's happened up 'till now. Well, let's see: First the earth cooled. And, then the dinosaurs came, but they got too big and fat, so they all died, and they turned into oil. And, then the Arabs came and they bought Mercedes Benzes. And, Prince Charles started wearing all of Lady Di's clothes. I couldn't believe it, he took her best summer dress out of the closet, and put it on, and went to town. A Jedi knight with those robes (what mask, shoulders and control panel included too?) would be very crappy, specially since Black is for bad guys, and i dont want to picture that in another color. And that would make Vader just another one, he would not be special, and if the prequels had done that you will be complaining.Sorry but a good guy wearing the same robes as vader doesnt make sense, it just looks corny and cheesy. And i have never seen you saying this, looks like you are making it just for fun.And the prequel Jedi wear more maneuverable clothes than the desert garments. And sorry im sure 99% percent of the people thinks the Jedi robes are very 'formidable' looking and respect inspiring. They dont wear armor, they wear robes, since they are wizards, and that is what Ben is.
