robthehand 3
I'm going to buy a decent audio editing program for PC, and need some advice. My instinct is to go for Adobe Audition? Is this a good program?
Miguel Andrade 964
I have Cool Edit Pro 2000, out of wich Adobe Audition is made. Is my favorite audio software, and I've tried others, either freeware or not. It offers some very professional tools, while still being acessible to the user. But there are others around here who can be of more help than me on this subject. robthehand 3
Damn - another disadvantage to living in the UK - Audition is roughly the same number of US dollars as it is UK pounds.
mapsljp88 0
I use Audition for my editing and it has all the features I need, and some other cool ones like pitch, speed, and doppler effects. It may take awhile to get used to it, though; at least it did for me.
robthehand 3
Thanks, I'll probably get that one. God - if only I was American.
thx99 1,211
I use both Adobe Audition and Sony's Sound Forge, and for ease of use and a shallower learning curve, I'd recommend the latter. However, if you need multi-track editing (i.e., more than 2 channels), then go with Audition. Sound Forge is strictly a mono/stereo editing package.Sound Forge website:http://www.sonymediasoftware.com/Products/...uct.asp?PID=
