Host for the series is Martin Bookspan of PBS’s “Live at Lincoln Center.” Tickets are $12 ($10 for Tanglewood Friends or Berkshire Museum members). To order tickets, call 413-443-7171 extension 10. Williams’s music can currently be heard in the new Steven Spielberg film, War of the Worlds. The Academy- and Emmy-award-winning composer has created the music for more than 100 films, including Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, Jurassic Park, Schindler’s List, the three Indiana Jones films, and the six Star Wars movies. Williams was conductor of the Boston Pops Orchestra from 1980 to 1993 and is artist-in-residence at Tanglewood. Series host Martin Bookspan is best known as “the voice of Lincoln Center,” a role he has had since the first Live from Lincoln Center broadcast in 1976. He is the author of 101 Masterpieces of Music and Their Composers and Consumer Reports Reviews: Classical Recordings. The Berkshire Museum is located at 39 South Street on Route 7 in Downtown Pittsfield, Mass.
