I'm so glad I'm not into Bond at all. Those cue tracks alone sound like they have been played infinite times at the Nerd's Valhalla!!

While the last track is actually taken from Jerry Maguire obviously (duh!) this shit isn't serious right? Come on you guys! These aren't REAL track titles right?

Roald, for a Trekkie/Star Wars Geek/LOTR Freak/Neo Nerd and whatever other franchise you may be wetting your undies on (Dr. Who perhaps?), you seem remarkably unable to grasp the fact that many people like Bond, it's silly yes, but no more then Star trek or Star Wars.

And surely the name John Barry must ring some kind of bell even to you?

Oh wait it's Harry Potter, right, not Dr. Who?

Nope. Neither. But I do seriously dig WWE Wrestling (Hulk Hogan and his gang), zombie films and Storm comics.

Roald, you're missing out on tons of great music.

"Bond Smells a Rat" is a pretty cool cue.

Neil

From which film?

Very good, Marc. You get a cookie.

I actually love the mostly unused "Car Chase" from Thunderball.

Yay, a cookie!

I'm still not all that familiar with the Bond scores, though I bought half of them last month (eight of Barry's and two Arnolds). I haven't had time to really get to know them one by one. I'm also a tad annoyed by the poor sequencing on the remastered albums.

- Marc

Quite coincidentally, John Barry - Miss Goodhead Meets Bond from Moonraker

Bond 77, and as for song

Nobody Does It Better, a true pop classic.

The cue order was a demand from EMI who holds the right to these scores.

All unreleased music had to be presented as 'bonus' cues, for reasons unknown to me. (though Lukas cheated a little bit I think)

It's not perfect, but these are otherwise very fine releases which we would otherwise not have had.

I've waited for some of these since I was 15 years of age.

Pity they didn't expand Moonraker though.

I've waited for some of these since I was 15 years of age.

Join the club! The expanded edition of 'You Only Live Twice' is really a dream-come-true. My favourite soundtrack of all time (well at least one of them).

My favourite cue would probably be 'Capsule in Space', but it's a very difficult choice.

Indeed 'Flight Into Space' is awesome, 'Whisper Who Dares' (Live and Let Die) really rocks, the main theme from 'OHMSS' is completely irresistable (did I spell that right?), 'Gobinda Attacks' is one of the nicest Bond Theme-renditions ever done IMO, and that goes for 'The GoldenEye Overture' as well.

Don't like Arnold's stuff at all (apart from a few tracks).

Rumor has it that Arnold's going to do something different with the new Casino Royale. I just hope it's going back to the roots more than TND. No synthesizations! David Arnold: "As you wish."

"Dawn Raid on Fort Knox" is possibly the best Bond-baddie cue. It fits perfectly.

I like the low trombone quote of the line, "Golden words he will pour in your ear" around 2:00 in "Alpine Drive".

Marc...when you say "Into Miami", do you mean the title song or the cue after that?
