I was under the impression that Disc 1 had 18 tracks and Disc 2 had 16 tracks?

The version I saw had 18 and 16 respectively although they were just listed as tracks 1-18 and 1-16.

Read down at the bottom...

"This music was ripped from the AOTC DVD.

There are voice echoes and sound effects on almost all of the tracks."

I for one really hate scores with sound effects and voice echoes...

The sound effects aren't so bad to me (usually) but I really do not understand the voice echoes. Even background voices where people are chattering unintelligibly can get past me as long as they aren't too prominent. But sometimes you can hear full lines being spoken! What gives?! Why?! Why?! ;):nono::baaa:

Well, the echoes were added for realistic effect. Take the Lars' garage, for example: there are voices echoes because the walls and ceiling are metal.

Actually the sets are built out of wood. Remember the "Making Of" feature for Episode I on Disc 2? All shows like this mostly build their sets out of wood.

Still the question remains....why would anyone (besides some of you guys here) want scores that have sfx and voice echoes?

I mean sure if the music has very very mild sfx where it doesn't distrupt the listening of the music that's one thing..

With all current AOTC DVD extracts nearly all the music has voice echos and sfx all over the place that literally distrupt the listening of the music.

I made a briefly expanded AotC with only the relatively clean music rips. "Shmi's Funeral" and the unreleased part of "Confrontation with Count Dooku and Finale" (the Emperor's theme). Then I added the stuff from videogames... it's an "expanded OST" at best.
