I was so busy at work today I forgot to put on my scary music on my iPod. I would have played the Omen scores, Psycho, ALIEN, Jaws. Anything to scare and unnerve my customers.

Neil - who is ignoring the doorbell, but is playing Goldsmith's Damien: Omen 2

I hid out in my yard and jumped at unwary passersby while my parents handed out candy. I was wearing a long black robe and a skeleton mask. :)

I wish there was the tradition of Halloween back here.

There's a darker side to Halloween....

But as the old proverb goes...

Tradition travels best on miles of unrolled toilet paper.

We'll be sure to send some over. :)

Some people here need a good dose of the Halloween spirit (not meaning Satan).

Ray Barnsbury - who can't participate in the holiday, as he resides on a college campus :)

Salve sodales! Bonam diem omnium Sanctorum omnibus exopto!

Ave Regina Caelorum,

Ave Domina Angelorum,

Salve Radix, salve porta,

Ex qua Mundo lux est orta. (From Kingdom of Heaven - Burning the Past - An actual Catholic Latin Vesper prayer)

There's some nice Latin to counter the evil Ave Satani :)

Uh...It's halloween. It's not a holiday when you're an adult. It's just a reason to turn the porch light off. I'm sorry to be the apparent grouch, but I can't stand Halloween. Luckily I live in a cul-de-sac, so I'm relatively cut off from the main streets, and when the neighborhood grew up, that was pretty much the end of it. Most of the other people don't even realize our street is on the map. I consider that a good thing.

Tim :)

Although I will admit that I'm currently indulging my taste buds with some excess candy that was not given out (there seems to be more and more of it every year).

Tim, who is enjoying Reese's Pieces.....with nuts.

Australian kids who go trick-or-treating forget which country they live in. We had only one set of kids come to the door all dressed up. We didn't have anything for them because I forgot it was Halloween. Luckily they forgot their eggs.

Tacky holiday anyway.

Finland does not celebrate Halloween (to my everlasting joy). I do not think much about it. And neither does rest of the country.

Oh I forgot. Bad grammar and outbursts like that are called street cred.
