Jurassic Park, the one who made me know John Williams.

A little wet behind the ears, aren't we?

For everything there is a first time......

ESB...

Because the Carbon Freeze track is one of the only 3 tracks in any soundtracks that I can listen to over...and...over...and over...and over again without it ever getting old. It's a track that makes me feel in the mood for it.

This poll is invalid as far as I'm concerned because CE3K and Star Wars should be on there.

You're invalid!

...erm...yeah

Raiders, Empire, and Star Wars are so close together for spot uno that I basically chose through mood.

Justin - Who right now is in a Star Wars mood....as it isn't up there he'll go with Raiders.

anybody with half a brain knows ESB will win this poll,

but E.T. is the best, then Jaws, then Superman,

ESB is about the 11th or 12th best, but the masses will still pick it.

Actually that makes me wonder which score is more accesible to the general public, ESB or E.T.

Just for kicks, here's how I would rank them:

1.) E.T. the Extra Terrestrial

2.) Raiders of the Lost Ark

3.) The Empire Strikes Back

4.) Jaws

5.)/6.) Jurassic Park/Superman (not that crazy about either of these scores, aside from the terrific main themes)

Hook has every right to be on that list. It's not the best, but it's in my top five with wiggle room. Many people regard this as a masterpiece, with several memorable and beautiful themes. The way he uses them in the score is a throw back to the late seventies, in the senes that he weaves them in and out like silk thread. It's success on CD and in the popular culture even after the movie was panned is a testament to Williams' ability to create a fantastic work of art.
