What exactly did Gloria Estefan do on the TPM finale?

Back in 1999 when TPM score was released there were various reports/rumors (I don't remember) that John Williams had consulted pop/latin-diva Gloria Estefan on the Augie Municipal Band finale piece.

What is the truth to this all? Anyone know?

She also wrote the original Emperor's Theme for RotJ.

Which is a basis for all later Williams music as we here on the MB determined just month ago :)

What!? Why? Roald is rumor mongering as usual and we all react with appropriate levity :)

Gloria Estefan was the stand in for Boss Nass in that scene. She was wearing nothing and 20th century fox would have had to give it an X rating, so Lucas replaced her with the digital Nass.

LOL LOL

So that's why Boss Nass is so redicilously big and corpulent character. :)
