Lurker 5
"Beauty killed the Beast" part I - V? o_O Â Creativity shortage or what? You write 2+ hours of music in 2 weeks and see if you have time to create track titles. Neil
Vaderbait1 1
You write 2+ hours of music in 2 weeks and see if you have time to create track titlesIt's not that hard. I would think that someone as unnecessarily critical as you would jump on this, too.

Has there ever been a film with two rejected scores by two different composers?

GoodMusician 53
yea, not too much of a fan of the track names lol... but oh well..Has their been any news on the Howard Shore score? I know that a lot of the Jerry Goldsmith scores that were denied were still released... any news on his kong score or did it not even get as far as recording... #SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 10,251
As far as I know only 2 Goldsmith scores that were rejected got an official release. But Shore is no Goldsmith, who has a reliable fanbase and had a close relationship with the people at Varese. GoodMusician 53
well I mean... I know that Goldsmith had some released. I have his score for timeline for example... And it seems Howard SHore has some following... they are re-releaseing the LOTR's complete scores... which everyone and their dead grea-grand mothers' want...did they even record it because I remember reading about how he had commented that a mock score put in front of the audience really doesn't do the music justice... or maybe I imagined reading that... Incanus 5,519
The track titles "Beauty killed the Beast I-V" show both lazyness and the philosophy of naming your cues as vaguely as possible. Oh well atleast there is no the "Death of Kong" title though that comes hardly a suprise to people any more does it. The CD cover is oddly pictoresque and peaceful even. I had imagined something dark and gritty on the cover but that was a nice suprise if it is indeed the real CD cover on that page.

Incanus 5,519
Well it seems the finale is complete in the OST...That is a good thing. Track titles are any way a small point of complaint (but nothing is more fun than bashing them ).
