I guess I just find it harder to get into some of his earlier stuff (plus I've never seen Witches, Superman, ESB or RotJ).

It's just so different to what JNH and T Newman puts out, who I listen to equally

Say what you will about the SW scores, Superman is in no way hard to get into.

War Of The Worlds. Totally uninteresting in respect to melody and harmony. If ever there was a score that can't stand on its own, this is the one.

There's a whole lot of people who find dissonance very interesting from a harmonic and melodic point of view. I'm one of them. When listening to CE3K I do not bore when listening to the atonal parts. WotW is written similarly to the scary music from CE3K, which I always found fascinating.
