Sandor 459
Mine: Star Trek The Next Generation's All Good Things. Although I enjoyed the finale from DS9 and Voyager, it never reached the emotional and climactic high of All Good Things. It's followed closely by Sex And The City's An American Girl In Paris (part deux). Arguably the most satisfying finale I've ever seen. It didn't make you long to see more or leave your with unanswered stuff, but it gave the series a perfect sense of closure in a way I've never seen before. It was just finished. The most disappointing finale I ever saw was probably Friends. It left me totally cold (although I LOVE the series). Other "cool" finales: The X-Files, Buffy and The Black Adder (ok not really a finale, but a cool last episode nonetheless)
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 10,251
DS9.All Good things was a good finale episode for the TNG, with a great final scene, but It wasn't really that much of a finale, since Generations followed soon afterwards. RomanticStrings 9
I was to have caught the finale to "JAG" because it was one of my favorites early on, but I slowly fell away from it because it got a little odd, as well as because it was on at a time where I just couldn't watch it due to other commitments. However, catching the finale, as cheesy as it was (I like that kind of cheese, though), was just perfect closure. It left much to the imagination, but in a way that made the show personal, at least for me. I wish that it's close companion, "First Monday", was on long enough for it to have a finale because I enjoyed that show, too.~Conor

Docteur Qui 1,248
Buffy the Vampire SlayerAngel (gotta love that line - "Let's go to work!")Futurama (it wasn't meant to be THE finale, but a touching and entertaining last episode for the series)Friends had an awful finale, though I lost interest about four years ago, and I was only 14 then. I got so sick of the characters, and Ross is a whiny bitca. Seinfeld took itself too seriously and tried to go out with a bang. It didn't work. Oh, I almost forgot; Everybody Loves Raymond. That's the way to end a successful sitcom. Without anything big or special; just how the show's always been with a nice, bookmarked ending. Greg1138 2
Can't really be called a final episode any more, but the good Doctor and Ace walking off to the Tardis for that cup of tea made a poignant ending, even though when it was filmed no-one had any idea that it was to be the ending!! Trent B 317
I agree about TNG's episode that it was an okay finale but as Setfcanos said Star Trek: Generations soon followed.I LOVED DS9's finale, I really hope they make a Star Trek movie with the DS9 crew and Sisko returning...maybe a joined movie with the TNG and Voyager crews too *dodges all objects thrown at him*Voyager's finale to me was pretty good. Though I expected a bit more than it just leaving off with Voyager flying towards Earth with the Federation fleet escorting the ship. I really wanted to know what happened to the rest of the crew, wondering if Harry Kim finally got premoted to Lieutenant or what (like a montage of images). I mean we know Janeway got premoted to Admiral but still...Enterprise' finale just absolutely ruined the rest of that season for me. I thought the episode before that the 2 parter was worthy enough for a series finale...talk about a big let down, oy.I don't watch much TV so I can't comment on any other series. I did like X-Files for a time. The show kind of stunk after the guy who played Mulder left. I did hear the series finale was pretty stupid too. I didn't catch the last season because it had swtiched to Sci-Fi and at the time we didn't have cable TV so I couldn't watch it.I do watch Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis and so far I am loving every minute of it. Been with SG-1 since the pilot as well as Atlantis. I always catch the new episodes each week and if for some reason I can't I will set the timer to record them on the DVR. Â Hmmm...The finale of Season 7 "Lost City" was originally going to be the feature film, but it just became the season finale after they got a Season 8. A movie would be difficult now for good old classic SG-1 because the show is barely recognisable as it is now since it's been almost bastardised into Farscape form with Ben Browder as team leader and Claudia Black gaining prominance. It should have just ended at Season 8 with "Reckoning/Threads/Moebius". TheRuleOfThirds 0
Yeah, Everybody Loves Raymond had a really good finale. It was really nice how it started out like Ray was going to die, but then he didn't and it just kind of sailed out on a breeze with the image that always tied the show together.
