Catch Me If You Can

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

The Terminal

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith

Again, REMEMBER TO VOTE FOR YOUR LEAST FAVOURITE!

It's the votes in the POLL that count, not any comments. By all means - post comments, but your vote will only be counted if you vote on the actual poll.

The poll is open for 24 hours. My vote goes to A.I. again.

Catch Me If You Can...................again

Hehehe....

I would've voted for it earlier, but I wanted to get Minority and Clones off first. Plus, I don't think it's a bad score, I just don't like 60's influenced stuff, kind of like my attitude towards Schindler's list. I respect but don't particularly enjoy

A.I., although after just watching CMIYC, I guess I could just as well pick that. But it looks like one of the two is going to win this time anyway, so I can just vote for the other one in the next round.

Marian - who thinks all of the scores that have been voted out so far are more interesting (each of them has at least one worthwhile highlight, some of them quite remarkable).

I agree with your second part, they do all have notable highlights for me. The Patriot has Ann and Gabriel, Susan Speaks plus the title track, and Minority has Sean's beautiful theme.

I still think though that CoS and WotW are very underrated. They both get frequent listens with me, even though Chamber admittedly has a lot of rips from Sorcerer's. I think they're good rips though.

I'm not trying to say that I hate Catch Me If You Can, I quite like it, but I just believe it's the weakest score overall. It's just that when you talk about voting off your least favorite, there's a tendency to give the impression that you dislike it, when that's not the case at all. When it's voted off, I can pick something else. :)

I see what you're saying yeah. I think we're now at that stage in the poll now as well - we're having to 'evict' scores that we think are in the lower ranks of good, instead of those we think are just plain bad.

That's why the next few rounds will be hard, as we're almost left just with ones we really like, especially with all the different genres which are hard to compare fairly.

I remember liking (haven't listened to it in months) Patriot's main title. The Sean theme falls into the A.I. category for me, but MR has two interesting action cues, and the rest is at least very solid in the film.

The Chamber of Secrets is an amazing piece, and both The Ferry Scene and The Intersection scene are outstanding. COS has plenty of other very fine tracks, and there's quite a bit of cool stuff in the rest of WOTW as well.

Marian - :)

Catch Me If You Can again.......a fine score, but not in the league of the others....mind you, there have been one or two injustices already in these polls so who knows what might be next!

Ive voted for munich - I loved it when I first listened to it - but unlike anyother JW scores - I got bored of it after a week. Its the score I aways skip along with AI in my mp3 player. AI will be next - but the main theme is just one of the most beautiful pieces ever - but the score is repetive.

I had no idea so many people disliked Catch Me if You Can. It's one of my favorite, and some of JW's best.

I like it very much, too, but it seems that there are only good ones left any more.

Ditto - I like this score, but it's not the best of the best bunch.....

~Tyler, oh well....

I agree. The score is truly excellent and spot on for the film. Now, the album listening experience runs against the score.

I voted CMIYC.

Why A.I.? It's the best score on the list.

oh please, its not anywhere close to the best, its merely average, its best asset is gathering dust.

I'll have to toss out Munich. It has a few good tracks but overall it's a bit tedious to listen to.

That'll be my next choice I'm afraid. It's got the great Avner's theme, but the wailing is overdone for my tastes and a lot of the darker music is too dark.
