In round one The Patriot was voted off, round two War of the Worlds, round three Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, round four Minority Report, round five Attack of the Clones, round six Catch Me If You Can, so place your votes for the next to go!

Artificial Intelligence: A.I.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's/Philosopher's Stone

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

The Terminal

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith

Memoirs of a Geisha

Munich

Again, REMEMBER TO VOTE FOR YOUR LEAST FAVOURITE!

It's the votes in the POLL that count, not any comments. By all means - post comments, but your vote will only be counted if you vote on the actual poll.

The poll is open for 24 hours. My vote goes to A.I. again.

The Terminal score then...

But I love that score. Man, this is becoming just like Sophie's Choice. Well, almost then...

That's what's makes these polls so much more interesting then the usual "What's your fav Williams score of the 80's?" type poll.

There are only two truly great scores up there, so I voted for Spielberg's biggest failure, AI

but really I could have voted for Munich, which is about as enjoyable as passing a kidney stone,

or

Sith, which is like passing gass after eating beans and rotten eggs,

or

Giesha which is pleasant, but so is a nice hot bowl of oatmeal, but it is never going to be anything but a bowl of oatmeal

or

Terminal, which is just what the title says, terminal. :micro:

Memoirs. I think that once you get past the ethnic touch, it's not really that spectacular. But all the remaining scores, at this point, are great.

A.I. has several wonderful cues which totals up to between 30-40 minutes of great material. The rest cannot hold my attention.

Justin - Glad to see that the best score up there has still yet to recieve a single vote for seven rounds.

The Terminal..purely because I don't like it as much as the others...I haven't heard Munich or Memoirs properly yet so they'll be next...from then on it's going to be tuff!

This is the kind of poll that encourages people to vote strategically. I think thats why it tends to come down to two scores getting most of the votes. Its not that there's really that much agreement, its just you tend to vote for the one that is up against the one you want to stay in. So in this case, not having a strong opinion and liking all the scores, I tend to want to vote to keep AI in, which means voting for Terminal. Does make it more interesting though it can make the results even more misleading in some ways.

I'm surprised A.I. made it this far. Mind you, I saw the movie a long time ago and don't remember the score very well, but it couldn't have been THAT good if I can't remember it. I liked "For Always," but I'm ready to see it get voted off, since it's the only score I don't own.

I'm gonna have to say Munich on this one. Now that CMIYC is gone, it's going to get much harder, but Munich is the first one I found imperfections in when initially thinking about the remaining scores.

I voted Munich. My next choice would be A.I. Not that I don't like it. I was listening to it today; it really is great. But it's probably my least favorite of the bunch.

What I don't get is all this hate for The Terminal. I think it might just be my second favorite remaining score here (after ROTS).

Could Prisoner of Azkaban possibly win this poll when the dust has settled? It would be very surprising if that score, above all the others, is named his best 21st Century score.

I wouldn't be surprised nor angry. I love that score.

Hmmm, it feels very rushed to me. And very overrated too,

I prefer the other two scores to this one. Philosopher’s Stone all the way for me!

Whatever the outcome may be, I gotta give you all this:

A lot of you seem to love the Terminal score dearly, so I think I just may pick that up and give it a close listen. Hopefully a week or two from now I can come back and say "How could I vote for Terminal?"

whoa whoa whoa . . . 3 votes for ROTS? wtf

PoA has much more individual "soul" than PS, which is masterfully crafted, but a reasonably straightforward continuation of Home Alone and Hook.

Dunno,

I couldn't hear this score more than four or five times max,

Aunt Marge's Waltz was just under whelming and all the scary stuff wasn't inspirational or scary enough.

Also the action music was just faceless without anything to remember after the track is gone.

As for the themes it felt to me like it could be a work of any other composer around (except for Double Trouble)

It just didn't feel like a Williams score to me,

watery and un-complex orchestrations and unusually simple themes

On the other hand the Philosopher’s stone feels and sounds like a true Williams masterpiece from all aspects
