Schindler's List, definitely, closely followed by Saving Private Ryan. I also like the highly underrated A.I. and Empire of the Sun -- it's unfortunate that the public didn't embrace these quiet masterworks.

Schindler's List, followed by the haunting Munich, a movie which I considerer to get better as each day passes since I've watched it. It simply won't leave my mind.

A.I and Empire of the Sun are also brilliant.

I was the one that voted for Empire Of The Sun. It is perhaps more flawed than Schindler's List but with Empire of The Sun I feel that repeated viewing is more rewarding.

The Terminal is a nice story, it's sad but it also fun in parts. I wouldn't call either "dramatic" or "popcorn".

What is sure is that nothing is more dramatic that WWII, no wonder why the two WWII-related movies are winning...

Schindler's List. (here)Underrated Saving Privat Ryan comes near behind.

And it's true, that more you see the Empire of the Sun,better it gets.

Last time I saw,it was VHS-age,it's time to accomplish my DVD-library

with an other great drama.

i'll go with schindler followed closely by the underrated empire.

however, i honestly dont think CMIYC and The Terminal are 'drama' films. They are more light comedy (and hence I consider them popcorn actually), especially the Terminal

well I knew Schindler's List would win, but I prefer the Color Purple, its a much more emotional film to me.

Empire of the Sun.
with Empire of The Sun I feel that repeated viewing is more rewarding.

In fact, I was pretty indifferent the first time I saw it.

Also, Empire Of The Sun has a better ending than Schindler's List. I think the latter is a four star movie but I just can't live with the 'I Could've Done More' scene. Why, Spielberg? Why?

And yes, I was also pretty indifferent when I saw Empire Of The Sun the first time in theater.

I could swear i wrote it.

I 'submited' instead of 'add another option' and had to edit.

Someone must have voted already by then?

Or i made the same mistake again.

Heck, i wanted a perfect poll :P
