Those polls are biased. You assume that everyone who votes has heard all the listed scores, which is wrong actually. If no-one ever heard Nixon, no-one can vote for that one, and you'll see that Nixon will be the best score of the '90s!

Anyway, Nixon out for me.

Indeed. The less famous ones will be eliminated for first, and then the real poll will start when we have to choose which score to eliminate between Jurassic Park, Lost World, Hook, Phantom Menace...

Damn, what a great decade. And to think that there are people who dare to say that Williams wasn't good anymore after 1982! :D

You might be able to say he was as good after 1982 though...

i think this poll should be split like 90-94 and then 95-99. five year periods so we wont have to look at that many scores at once. but im retarded anyway.

I agree. Those are distinct stylistic periods in Williams career. Categorizing by decennium is a bit arbitrary IMO. The first two scores I also would not list.

I think I am going to stop voting on these posts,

I love them all for different reasons (even Stepmom and Sabrina), the only one thought it was OK was Rosewood in the whole 10 years and that's it

Probably a few Prequel Haters making somekind of point.TPM is easily the best score of all these

That's indeed pathetic.

Some people is voting it juding the movie. We're talking about scores here, you know...

I'm not saying TPM is my favorite, but it's at least in the Top-10 (if not the Top-5).

I haven't heard Stanley and Iris and Stepmom, so I'll treat them as "ok". Of the remaining scores, Sabrina does absolutely nothing for me.

Marian - who hopes Sleepers survives a few rounds, because it has some great stuff.

TPM is a five star score, but I still voted for it,

I'm tired of the prequels, very tired.

Nixon has great tracks.

this poll won't be difficult. It's the most boring period in Williams career

K.M.Who voted for Rosewood

You can't be serious?

Perhaps, but should we not be considering the overall score?

What I was trying to say is that just some minutes of TPM are able to satisfy me far beyond what, for instance, Sabrina, can give me with all its best moments along the score. Let alone if I consider TPM menace in full length and I forget about the edits.

Well, after 1982 I had 2 Indiana Jones scores, 2 Jurassic Park scores, 2 Home Alone scores, Hook, WotW, TPM, RotS, The Terminal, Geisha, Schindler's List...almost everyone I just mentioned is better than RotJ, so while it may be true that Williams Golden Years are from 1975 to 1982, it's also true that there are a lot of great exception out that period.

Wow, I really find it hard to believe EPisode I is worse than half of that list.

It's not easily better then Hook, Jurassic Park, Far And Away and The Lost World.

Obviosuly nothing is set in stone, but I've never heard anyone make an argument that Episode I wasn't in the top 5. So I'm kind of surprised, considering it has some of the most memorable music of the series. I too think that it's a few people trying to make a point, simply because it's so unlikely that this would happen so soon.

Personally, the only score I think that is on par with Episode I or better is Hook. Jurassic Park and Lost World are good, but not as good, especially Lost World. Far and Away is the same thing.
