Apologies for the mix-up with the tie-breaker - my mistake.

In round one Stanley & Iris was voted off, round two Sabrina, round three Stepmom, round four Presumed Innocent, round five Sleepers, round six Nixon, round seven Rosewood, round eight Schindler's List, round nine Amistad, round ten Saving Private Ryan, round eleven Angela's Ashes, round twelve Home Alone 2, round thirteen Hook, so place your votes for the next to go!

REMEMBER TO VOTE FOR LEAST FAVOURITE!!!!

Home Alone

JFK

Far and Away

Jurassic Park

The Lost World: Jurassic Park

Seven Years In Tibet

Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace

My vote goes to Far and Away again. And the poll is set for 24 hours this time. ROTFLMAO

I voted for the Lost World. I've lost a great deal of interest in this poll, now with Hook gone. It's a pretty colorless list, to me. Mostly shades of grey. I'm afraid JW's output in the 90's isn't half as interesting to me without Hook.

(the best bits of it are from JP).

you really need to listen to the score, the best bits are not from JP.

Agreed. I'd almost say it the other way round - TLW uses the best bits of JP, plus a lot more.

Hook is certainly one of the top scores of the 90's,and it clearly "won" the Tie Breaker, why is JFK still there?

K.M.

Because in the original round 13 poll Hook had 18 votes and JFK had 17.

Congradulations folks, you just voted off one of the best Williams scores ever composed. This is so totally depressing.

If JFK doesn't go out in this round, it will just prove how idiotic this is.

Man. Anyone else feel like their personal opinions of these scores are just plain wrong unless JoeinAr shares the same view?

Schindler's List, Hook, Angela's Ashes, and now JFK?

No, Justin, you are not getting smarter.

Morlock- who just listened to 'The Motorcade' and 'Angela's Prayer', two of the most heartfelt and best emotional cues he's heard, and can't imagien ever coting against them in any way, shape or form.

p.s. @Alex: Listening to it again, I can say most decisively that Angela's Ashes is not emotionally too fluffy. Such a moving, complete piece of work, so structured....it really packs a punch. I disliked the film, but the score I find to be an amazing emotional journey.

did I attack his point of view, no,

I suggest he listen again. When I first heard the LW, I was dissappointed that it didn't contain more of JP, but later as I listened to it again, I discovered it didn't need to be a copy of JP, it had a life of its own. Its a five star score IMHO,

If you are ignorant enough to feel like your personal opinion is wrong because I don't agree with it, then thats your problem not mine. It just comes down to the fact that I am forceful in my opinion, while others are less so. You don't see Stefan, Marc, Mark, Scissorhands, Ray, Miguel, or any other of the widely diverse posters here bending to my will just because we share different opinion.

so I reiterate to anyone who isn't fond of LW, give it another chance, its a fantastic score, probably my choice as the best of the 90's.

I've said a few times on these boards that Lost World is underrated.....Best of the 90's? Not for me.....but in the top 3 easily....waaaaaayyyyy better than Far and a-bloomin'-Way.....
