1. Each round, you vote for what you think is the weakest score. After 24 hours, the weakest score will be knocked out, and so on, until there is only one score left - the winner.

2. Each poll is set for 24 hours, any votes AFTER that time won't register.

3. If there is a tie between 2 or more scores, in order to keep things moving along, ALL of them will be knocked out, UNLESS it is the last round where there are only 2 scores left anyway (otherwise both would be knocked out and there would be no winner).

Please report any errors *politely* by PM. :)

In this first round The Empire Strikes Back was voted off, round two Always, round three The Accidental Tourist, round four Monsignor and The River, round five Heartbeeps, round six SpaceCamp, round seven Born on the Fourth of July, round eight The Witches of Eastwick, round nine Empire of the Sun, round ten Return of the Jedi, and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, so place your votes for the next to go.

Remaining scores are:

Raiders of the Lost Ark

E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom

It's painfully difficult, but I have to go for E.T. this time.

Arggghhhhhhh....I feel so guilty.......but I voted for ET.......it is still a perfect, perfect score and contains probably the best single piece of Williams career.....in fact probably one of the best of the 20th Century full stop.......but Temple of Doom and Raiders are.....well......

....erm.....

Agh!

Temple of Doom is such a great score. The rubbish album really prevents us from fully enjoying it. It's a very rich and lush score, when Johnny was still writing in his old-fashioned huge style.

But I have to vote it off. Now way I'm touching E.T., easily my favorite after ESB, and Raiders has its classic status, and is also an excellently spotted film (rather than filling it up wall-to-wall, which may be very enjoyable for us Williams fans when we get to listen to the full score, but isn't always the best way to go for a film).

With pain in my heart, ToD it is.

How do you guys REALLY know Empire WOULD have won?

Sorry, but it comes close to infantile reasoning: "Ooh it won a poll some years ago and would win again...".

NOBODY knows. FACT.

I for one would have voted Empire off before E.T. AND Raiders. I'm sure many would have done so.

I'm glad I cannot govern my passions. What a bland person I would be then! I would not own more than 2000 CD's, 550 DVD's, realize GOMP, The Centrestage, my drawings, etc.

Why there was no tie this time? Why you suddently decided to change the rules? :?

However, I LOVE E.T., but I must vote it just for the fact that is the only one of the 3 which isn't Indy. :P

My vote wouldn't have been significant (I said I was voting for E.T.).

Then I accidently voted for ToD.

As a consequence of that, Willie Scott is screaming. :P

is this supposed to impress us, are we supposed to be in awe of your material greed, that you possess more CD's than you can possible listen too.

get over it Roald,

I reluctantly voted off Temple of Doom, for those who said they would have trouble choosing between TOD and LC, clean out your damned ears, TOD is so superior to LC, or Jedi, but its just a bit below Raiders, and a bit more below ET.

As a consequence of that, Willie Scott is screaming.

how is this significant, the only time she wasn't screaming was when Indy's tongue was in her mouth.

I'm sorry Joe, but your insinuating something that honestly didn't cross my mind. I'm just saying things the way it is. No hidden agenda or something.

2000 CD's may be somewhat of an overstatement. The truth is; I don't know how many CD's I own(ed). I'm not a greedy person at all. Yes, I love music, but I don't consider owning a lot of stuf an "impressive" achievement. Some people might consider it a weakness.

get over it Roald

You're right. I know I may have given some the impression that I'm emotionally affected by Empire's departure. The truth is: I'm not at all. The problem with writing things down (like on a forum) is that people easily interpretate things differently than is actually meant. I have the same problem.
