Mr. Breathmask 624 Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 It's your euphemism for being drunk, Steef. You know, bashed, befuddled, boozed up, buzzed, canned, crocked, drinking, drunken, flushed, flying, fuddled, gassed, glazed, groggy, hammered, high, hosed, in orbit, inebriated, intoxicated, jolly, jugged, juiced, laced, liquored up, lit, lush, merry, muddled, oiled, on a bun, overcome, pie-eyed, plastered, plowed, potted, seeing double, sloshed, soaked, sotted, soused, stewed, stoned, tanked, tight, tipsy, totaled, under the influence, wasted, zonked.Or simply "having keyboard problems."
Elmo Lewis 7 Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 bashed, befuddled, boozed up, buzzed, canned, crocked, drinking, drunken, flushed, flying, fuddled, gassed, glazed, groggy, hammered, high, hosed, in orbit, inebriated, intoxicated, jolly, jugged, juiced, laced, liquored up, lit, lush, merry, muddled, oiled, on a bun, overcome, pie-eyed, plastered, plowed, potted, seeing double, sloshed, soaked, sotted, soused, stewed, stoned, tanked, tight, tipsy, totaled, under the influence, wasted, zonked.Ha, I call that "Tuesday night".-Ross, who will celebrate with some classic Williams tonight - and will dedicate about 10 minutes to the Maestro next Thursday in the show.
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 12,388 Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 I just wanna say that news about my aledged alcoholism are grossly overexaggerated.I am a cautious human being, not some junkie low life slacker scum like Ender here!
QMM 4 Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 Happy Birthday JWfan, hope it stays up for years to come.

Trumpeteer 304 Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 Ricard and Andreas, you don't know how much I appreciate what you have done. I've been here for about five years, and I've loved every moment ... even the dry times.Neil and Marc were/have been great moderators. You guys deserve better praise than you're getting. And thanks for the 75th birthday section of the main page. The featured video made me cry (because the best parts of the score were in the video, and to see Steven and John at the piano, where they've always been for 30 years).
Incanus 5,890 Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 Happy birthday Jim and congratulations Andreas and Ricard! Cheers! My deepest thanks for creating this wonderful site.

Miguel Andrade 1,727 Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 Happy Birthday Jim.And a special thanks to Ricard, Andreas, Neil and Marc, for making this place a dream come true... at least most of the times I've been around, visiting Ricard's original site (for those who weren't around, it was a site concerning mostly about Episode I music), since March 1999. And February is a great month of birthdays... Today JWFan, in a few days, Johnny's 75th, then Jerry's and Maurizio, and later in the month, on the 23rd, my own site would celebrate his 8th year, and my older son will turn four by the 26th.Miguel, who also enjoys birthdays in september and december
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 12,388 Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 Four already Miguel? It seems like only a year ago we were congratulating you with your first born...
Miguel Andrade 1,727 Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 Four already Miguel? It seems like only a year ago we were congratulating you with your first born...Time flies... I still remember the days I didn't had a white hair and had no need for glasses...
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 12,388 Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 I have white hairs on my chin if I don't shave for a few days
Red 75 Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 Wow. This really things in perspective about how insignificant I am in here. Nevertheless, thanks Ricard and Andreas for a great site about a man and his music. Some of you guys are getting pretty old. B)
Mr. Breathmask 624 Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 Now that I think of it, I've been around here for almost 5 years now.Wow.
Delorean90 47 Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 Happy Birthday to Jim Ware, John Williams, and JWFan! Thanks to all involved in keeping JWFan alive!I'll have been here two years next month. Wow. It's been great, and I hope to be able to post for many more years.
JoeinAR 1,957 Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 my favorite flavor of cake is birthday cake.
Kendal_Ozzel 36 Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Happy Birthday JW, JWFan, and in a few days, JW!
Chris ChrusherComix 67 Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Your an original elder from the Groovy Yak days?I think that even beats me. Not sure... I may have visited that one on a friend's PC. But I don't count it until I got my own PC and internet access in the Summer of 2000. And immediately defended the honor of the site by braving the dark domains of the HornerShrine in order to defeat that despised Williams-hater, Manininpurple2000! Heh... I'll never forget those sound files that he sent me mocking Stefan!Even I am not from those days, I joined late spring 2000Dammit.. you beat me by like a month or two, Conrad! When Neil was moderator4 years of hell.Ah! I've figured it out now! He was trying to match his own private hell that Lucas gave him in 1997.
Hlao-roo 390 Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Hard to believe it's been eight years since Ricard's site was launched. It's been fun following the various incarnations of this message board, from the days before The Groovy Yak (Tim Perrine) site was taken down by "crazy Brazilians" (said he), to the current "post-Ricard" era of slick, over-produced interfaces and "outsourced" moderation. I hardly recognize anyone around here anymore -- some of our most celebrated members (e.g., Scott Fields a.k.a "Uni," Frank Lehman) have come and gone (more than once) -- but it's good to see that the John Williams fan base remains alive and well. All the best to Jim Ware and Evan Driscoll and moi and the rest of you who have, as John Williams (and, I might add, Michael Jordan) does, a February birthday.- Alan (a.k.a., "Trilobyte," "Demerzel," and "Hlao-roo")
nightscape94 968 Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 Great day in the morning! 8 years! Congrats!Happy Birthday website!Tim
Thor 9,362 Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 I´m probably the one who´s been around the longest, but I do not participate here all that often (mostly due to the interface, which is a bit too "busy" for me...too many icons, avatars, options, pictures and whatever). Still, though, 8 years....that´s something. I still remember vividly back in 1998 or so when Ricard and I were both running our respective Yahoo groups (some of which are still alive) and we used to hang out in in the Yahoo chat rooms. Remember that, Ricard? I remember you talked about your desire to start a Williams-related page, first with the "Episode 1" theme that Miguel mentioned. I, on my hand, also wanted to start a film music website. I did, and it´s still running at http://www.celluloidtunes.net , but whereas the progression of my site really stopped those 8 years ago, yours continued to blossom in both design and contents to be the most popular Williams site on the net. So I raise my glass to you, old pal!
Morn 8 Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 All those with posts above 8300 are dead to me.
Ollie 1,375 Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 All those with posts above 8300 are dead to me. It's your own damn fault...... I'm closing in on you.
Mr. Breathmask 624 Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 So Morn is dead to Morn? How does that work?
