Recording engineer Eric Tomlinson, who collaborated with John Williams during the ’70s and early ’80s, passed away earlier this week at age 84. Tomlinson worked with Williams in the recording of the scores for Fiddler of the Roof, Star Wars, Superman, The Empire Strikes Back, Raiders of the Lost Ark and Return of the Jedi.
