John Williams Named for a Sammy Award

24th Annual Sammy Film Music Awards Announced
The Sammy Awards have been announced for 2011 and the award for Best New Film Score goes to John Williams for WAR HORSE.  This is the 11th Sammy Award for John Williams since 1988, more than any other film composer.  The Sammys chosen for John Williams include both scores and songs:
