  1. It's really fun to play. I play clarinet in the Kennett Symphony Orchestra, and we are doing the opening title music from "Star Wars" in one of our summer concerts at Longwood Gardens this summer (June 27, 2009), so any JW fans in the Philadelphia area, come on out! There are a lot of people who play both in the Delaware Symphony and the Kennett Symphony, so they will have the fun of doing it twice in one season. I don't know how many people out there this also applies to, but I know that it's a blast being an orchestral musician who gets to both love hearing JW's music, and every now then help make it happen for other fans (or new ones).
  2. Mr. Breathmask: Thanks for the info (I wasn't expecting to e-mail him, as nice as it would be to be able!). The snail mail addres is fine. Thanks, Glenn
  3. I'm sure this info can be found somewhere on the site, but I didn't see anything immediately... I would love to send a letter to John Williams. The Delaware Symphony Orchestra opened its 2008 Pops series this week with an all John Williams concert set. Not only was the concert great, but the audience was so enthusuiastic, cheering, clapping when a piece started that they knew, demanding an encore, etc. I am a budding film composer, and if there ever was a cocnert of my music that was so appreciated, I would like to know about it! I'd like to send John a brief note telling him about the concert and how much his music was loved, even here in DE. Is there a good address I can send a letter to, that might have a chance of his actually seeing it? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Glenn Glenn Finnan Scores.com
