  1. it is complicated to understand it how you do this. at the end i think we mean the same thing...a real full score ! for me as a composer and pianoplayer i don´t have so much experience in technology. maybe you misunderstood me wrong because of my bad english. i don´t want to make a "fake-orchestra" with a computer. i only want the notes of every player in the orchestra. which program do you use with this FFT-thing. (i´m learning...) ? best Siggi
  2. jsawruk, i´m looking forward for your transcription ! Siggi PS: the fft thing sounds logic to me, but i would take a good string sample on my computer an play as long as it need till it sounds the similar to the original
  3. ok, i mean williams is to me more difficult to analyze (harmony-wise ) then goldsmith. but if you getting used of his style, it´s maybe no big deal. Sure, the orchestration of the "old" goldsmith is more interesting and more "modern". But listen to the middle (starting about 3:50-4:30) of elegy, for me it is hard to hear every voice of the string section. if you are able to hear this - please allow me to offer my respect to you. if you are really willing to transcribe this wonderfull piece of music, then let me know. best Siggi (Munich, Germany)
  4. wow, what a offer !! i think it´s hard to hear the different voices in the e.g. string sections especially in the middle of the piece. if somebody ask me to transcribe something from goldsmith, i would say ok, i can do it, but williams?? he has so much details in his orchestrations. are you a composer ? what did you already transcribed ? siggi
  5. Hello, does anybody know if there is a full score print edition of John William´s "Elegy for cello" available to buy? It´s a fantastic piece of music with YoYoMa. Best Siggi Mueller
