Well, you can live closed to only soundtracck music, but you very clearly cannot put Britney Spears alongside Beyonce, she's far superior.

I just hope they won't do like last year when I went (May 24th) where the stuck a Mozart violin concerto in the middle of it just to fill time. I would rather have the entire concert filled with Williams' music.
Lucky SOB I wish I could have gone to that "Light Classics" concert. Williams is a smart person' date=' he knows better than just serve his own ego. Too bad he won't be doing much of these shows more, only in Boston and Tanglewood. I hope I can go someday.

Actually there has been four different shells there, but the one in use until last year was built in 1929.
Numerous attempts to improve the 1929 shell's acoustics were undertaken over the years.In 1980, Gehry designed hollow fiberglass spheres which were hung within the Bowl shell in a carefully-calculated arrangement. While helpful, the spheres did not solve acoustical issues that continued to be problematic for the venue. In addition, the 1929 shell was unable to accommodate a full orchestra; nearly 1/3 of the musicians sat outside of the shell affecting the quality of sound produced.
