JWFan is currently having an issue where the system cannot send any emails to gmail addresses. This would affect the "Change Email" and "Forgot Password" features for existing users (as well as prevent you from getting Notifications), and means any new person without an account being unable to receive the activation email to create a new forum account.
Our system admins are working on a fix, but in the meantime new users can sign up with an email address from a different provider. If you have an existing account and cannot get back in because you forgot your password, you can contact JWFan on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/JWFan/
**UPDATE: I just manually approved 7 accounts that were watiing for a gmail validation. So if you recently tried signing up with a gmail address or recently switched your account to be connected to a gmail address, you should be able to log in now
