Alright, so with my San Diego trip cancelled...Do I risk getting another trip cancelled in order to see the man? Not a huge fan of David Newman.

Would you guys recommend still going to just hear the music without him? I'm flying cross country. I was really wanting to see Williams. Seems like kinda a waste to go now.

My guess is it's more severe than a cold. The concert date is still 20 days away. That's a long period of time to have a minor health issue?

Note: For health reasons, Mr. Williams has regretfully withdrawn from his previously announced appearance leading these concerts. Wow....sigh. Guess I'm going to cancel my trip I planned just for this. Really sucks, was hoping to see him before health issues.

Not sure if anyone noticed, but these tickets are now available to the public for purchase on their website. Good bit of seats left. I bought a ticket and planned a weekend in San Diego. Excited, as it will be my first time seeing Williams as conductor in person.
