  1. Here's what "Duel of the Fates" represents: the Battle of Naboo, and the battle between good and evil on Naboo.

i agree that whats really represents... just basically the Battle of Naboo, and the battle between good and evil on Naboo.

  2. Owen Lars had toiled to make a life for himself on Tatooine since a young age. The son of Cliegg Lars, a moisture farmer, he greatly valued the traditions of discipline and hard work. As a young man, he had a strong vision of what he wanted to make of himself, and that vision was firmly rooted on Tatooine. His goals were clear and attainable through discipline. He would turn the Lars homestead into a productive farm, and live there with his love, Beru Whitesun.

Complicating this simple life was his nephew. At the behest of Obi-Wan Kenobi, Owen and Beru were made the wards of Luke Skywalker, the son of Owen's stepbrother, Anakin. Lingering resentment over the actions of Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi would color Owen's opinions for years.

Owen attempted to raise his nephew as a normal youth, keeping him from the fact that his veins coursed with Jedi blood and that his "dead" hero father was not simply a freighter navigator. The farmer tried to pass on his values to Luke. Though he was a caring guardian, Owen's demeanor was gruff and strict, which often led to tension between him and his daydreaming nephew. It usually fell to Beru to iron out the differences between Owen and Luke.

  3. Owen is Anakin's step-brother. Owen said that to Anakin in Episode II where Anakin came back to Tatooine to try and rescue his mother.

    ANAKIN: I'm Anakin Skywalker.

OWEN: Owen Lars. This is my girlfriend, Beru.

    BERU: Hello.

    PADME: I'm Padme

OWEN: I guess I'm your stepbrother. I had a feeling you might show up some day.

  4. I like the part with the repeating staccato strings and bass drum at around 3:14

same...I like that part. isnt the bass drum is those Japanese big drum?

I especially like the minute after Grievous´ Theme is played (i believe it´s around 05:00), because it builds up tension in a very enjoyable way

I like that part as well

  5. This is exactly what iTunes provides for me: no CD changing, comfortable handling, my whole CD collection...albeit in mp3 form. I love it! (this and the POD of course

I got 210 tracks from John Williams on my iTunes which will take 14.7 hours to listen to them all.. :( I got more which i havent put them on iTunes yet.

  6. "From the director of Independence Day" isn't part of the title, Damo.

    LOL

    yeh i know

anyway I, Robot and The Day After Tomorrow are pretty good movies. I like The Day After Tomorrow better than I, Robot. I, Robot is a bit interesting just because the robots didnt obey the three laws.

The Day After Tomorrow is a good movie with special-effects-filled look at what the world would look like if the greenhouse effect and global warming continued at such levels that they resulted in worldwide catastrophe and disaster, including multiple hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, tidal waves, floods and the beginning of the next Ice Age.

  7. I finally got it working - and being the nice person that I am, I made MP3 samples for y'all :)

    LINK DELETED

I gotta say - this is ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT! YES YESYES !!! x Million!! This is perfect -- exactly what I had hoped for-- I love dissonance - I love expressive use of different instrumental techniques so this is just perfect!! The action sounds amazing and the Father/Daughter theme sounds beautiful!

    YAY! :(

    very nice....i like it :(
