Hymn for New England is my favorite. It was love at first listen.
Pops on the March is just plain fun!
-
The proof that he doesn't know what he's talking about is he cites a chopped up tracked cue from TPM to help justify RotS being on the list
-
Thanks, awesome! I'll take any complete cue list I can
-
This stuff is really cool...I'm a big fan of the old 60s TV style of writing by Johnny Williams...I hope someday one of the labels will release a box set of some sort...like all the Kraft scores in a boxset, I would LOVE listening through something like that!

I don't care what it is, I just want it.
And I personally really enjoyed NWMWYD Vol 2. Lots of fun stuff in there!

I feel your pain, Datameister. Sometimes life projects will try to use up all the fun/hobby time :/

Yay, I got my copy as well. I'm going to give it three nice listens: A headphones listen, a car listen (nothing like people staring at me from their cars at stop lights, wondering why I'm not listening to "cool" music), and a sit-in-front-of-the-Klipsch's-at-home listen.
I'm excited to see what I think of this score after hearing it in a proper presentation. Listening to footwarmers made from the DVD isolated score, I never much got into this score very much.

I will say this: I do remember being disappointed and confused when I heard that the other characters would not be showing up in TLW. Nowadays I am not even the slightest surprise when they drop characters from sequels.

Nice! Awesome to see all the actual cue titles!

Thanks for all you guys' work, I am excited to assemble me some complete and chronological Lost in Space
-
...if only!
But man! This is really cool! I'd love complete Menken scores, Mulan and Lion King.

A L I E N
on bluray. I love the movie, I like how the dialog feels very real. There are no lines that make me think " corny hollywood" and fabulous acting!, even from the cat! Looks and sounds quite wonderful on blu.

Wow, really cool thread! I've been wondering how many times this theme has appeared in the whole saga. It is a theme that has always been so close to my heart.
I personally like the haunting, low key statements. Some have given me goosebumps.
My favorites are ANH: reveal that Bens name is obiwan, TPM just before podrace.

As clean as I can make it...its not bad besides two moments where the police spaceship thing flies by. I am trying to utilize both front and rear channels though to avoid as much noise as possible as well as clean out whatever sfx I can.

Yeah I figured but thought I would at least ask
-
Hmmm I will definitely try it. Do you know off top of your head if it is compatable with the VSL samples?
-
Question: I am about 3/4 done doing a complete edit of Minority Report.
Besides the 5 cues that there is pdf sheets for, does anyone know any other original cue titles?
Does a cue list exist? I would like to use original titles when I can.
-
Yeah there are some really nice samples out there. If only they weren't so expensive. Lol. I still need to find a good sequencer to playback samples. Years back I wanted to get gigastudio, but I think that software died...
-
Great job, datameister. I had a really nice time listening through your extremely well made edit ( as well as TLW too). Top notch

I can't wait to get home and hear this!

Wow! Fascinating stuff! Really amazing look into mr. Williams' creative process.
So if I understand correct, would the diagon ally reveal cue go in place of the music that plays as the bricks are shifting?
-
Haha yes, the tiny rays of sunshine (major key) almost stick out like a sore thumb amidst all the darkness. And I am trying to imagine the score recorded without any zimmer trademark synth....it would have a better feeling imho...
-
Yay, this will be the first MUST buy for me this year! I love the crazy f horn trills...and all the rest of the score!

Yes, bring on the universal!
