Hi, guys, I thought I'd re-post this interesting article that I have just read in the Hollywood Reporter. SETTLING THE SCORE: WILLIAMS REPLACES NEWMAN ON COLD-WAR EPIC. "In a curious twist of Hollywood fate, John Williams, Stephen (sic) Speilberg's main scorer, has replaced the man who was to score Spielberg's latest film, "Bridge Of Spies". It appears that Thomas Newman has been taken ill soon after attending a toga party at the home of...John Williams. Says Mr. Newman: " I really didn't want it, but (Mr. Williams) absolutey insisted that I eat that 3rd chicken burrito. I didn't think anything of it, at the time". Mr. Newman was rushed to a local hospital, where he was diagnosed with post-parandial, upper intestial spasams. Because of his injury, Mr. Newman is expected to be out of action for the rest of the year, and will now not score upcoming Bond-flick "Spectre". Rumours in Hollywood are already rife that former Bond music-provider David Arnold will return to the fold.Asked if he would like to continue scoring Bond, Mr. Arnold replied: "Of course I want to bloody continue! That last one was (expletive deleted). Even the Madonna fiasco was beter than that mopey, navel-gazing..." The rest of the quote cannot be reprinted, for reasons of decency. So there you have it.
