MSM 126
Could anyone get me a MIDI file of Dvorak "Romance" (or "Romanze") op. 11 for violin and orchestra?I have tried to find it on the internet, but can't find it, though I am sure I have seen it before.I need to study the solo part with an orchestra-substitute.I'd be very grateful! Wojo 2,453
MSM,Is it here?http://www.classicalarchives.com/main/d.html#DVORAKThey have a wealth of classical MIDIs, including those by Dvorak. I see "Romanze" being the third movement of his String Quartet No. 10 (Op. 51), and also see "Nemorino's Romance," but I don't even see an Op.11 by Dvorak. There's this, but it's not a MIDI: https://www.stagepass.com/groupartist/artis...Invnum=48018293

Wojo 2,453
Do you have sheet music for the whole orchestra, or just your part? Making a MIDI note by note is possible, but very time consuming. I used to do make them all the time.

Wojo 2,453
Wikipedia says that a lot of Dvorak pieces have more than one opus number, a result of his publishers getting greedy. Is the Opus 11 you're looking for able to be cross-referenced as Burghauser 39? That MIDI archives has Czech Suite, Op.39, which has a movement called Romanza. I mean the stand alone piece for violin and orchestra. In the Czech suite there are no solo parts.
