Morlock 11
....An official John Williams fan! I've only been seriously exposed to JW in the past year, and until a couple of weeks ago, only owned 3 soundtracks and 2 collections of JW's stuff. That has all changed. I have puchased what I deem to be a respectible John Williams CD base collection. There are a few notable Cds missing, but it's (IMO) a very good start. As of June 30th, I owned the following JW Cds: Harry Potter Attack of the clones Hook JW greatest hits 1969-1999 (This is what turned me on to JW) Star Wars and more (A collection of Sci Fi themes- Star wars, JP, Superman, Star Trek, Back to the future, largly dominated by Williams) As of July 20th, My collection grew by 2: Jaws (original recording) Indians Jones and the last crusade As of July 23rd, by another 7 (on Amazon.com): The Empire Strikes back E.T. The Patriot The Phantom Menace Ultimate Edition Close Encounters of the third kind (Special or collector's edition) Jurrasic Park Schindler's list As of July 24th, by an additional 2: Home Alone Amistad As of July 26th, by the (so far) last 3: Empire of the Sun Far and Away Minority Report I've listen to parts of all of them, but now I'm really going through them one by one, track by track. I'm now in the middle of what is In my opinion the best soundtrack of all times, The Empire strikes back. Only in CD 1, so I've got a lot of pleasurable listening ahead. The ones I'm longing for currently: Superman Rhino edition Raiders of the lost Ark Temple of Doom JFK A New Hope Return of the Jedi
Lurker 5
You've got a lot of good stuff, but you should also add The Fury to your list, especially since Varese has a new limited edition available. 3,000 copies of that score probably won't last long.Neil
