Why John Williams did not score Goblet of Fire ?

atlantide, there are actually two answers to the fist question:

A. John Williams did not have time to score GOF, because he wanted/was obligated to score Memoirs of a Geisha.

B. Mike Nevell wanted a composer closer to "home" who could be actively involved during the film's production considering the amount of source music to be used. Or in other words; he wanted Patrick Doyle and this is his "press-friendly" reasoning.

Who will score OOTP? Not known at this time. I think it will be Hans Zimmer! :)

As much as I enjoyed his score for Backdraft and Gladiator....

me I know!!! i am very sad it's not john willams who make the music of harry potter 4 because I love harry potter and I loved it music what a shame!! :cry:

It's Patrick Doyle who make the score and his music is little boring
