  1. Yes, I can hear a score through my 'mind's ear', particuraly if the piece is supposed to have a slow tempo. If it is one of Williams' fast paced action cues with time signature changes at almost every bar, then it starts to get challenging!
  2. I was wondering how people out there approach studying orchestral scores (particuraly film scores) and analysing them, which will benefit you in the future when you come to compose. What kind of approaches do you take and would be willing to share? For example, do you make note of what instrument or combination of instruments enhance a certain mood/scene in the picture or the ranges of each instrument? Aspects like that. I have a few John Williams Signature Editions and other film scores, and would like to make the most out of them. Thanks!
