I cannot quote enough times this comment 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. I felt the sound like a very intimate concert conducted by the Meastro and "his friends" (us), which made it more special for me.

Overall the orchestra was good but after hearing Berliner or Wiener it's a whole different level. It was just the brass section being weak in some spots. Sound also very "intimate" in this theatre.

From critic point of view I have to agree on the Brass section for being weak but I was expecting that. This orchestra is not used to play cinematic soundtracks but only opera. Strings were superb and I think I've heard one of the best versions of Shindler's List. Soloist was incredible. The whole experience was overhelming. Williams as always full of energy and never seen such a lively crowd (yes we are italians🤣). Lot of emotions.

Maybe those who are going to tomorrow's opening reharsal will give us an idea.

It seems impossible they wouldnt make any recording. They basically might not want to announce it yet. The event is too historic for not being at least recorded on something.

Quoting the last bit: I think because everyone realizing he has a certain age and London still hurts for many🤣. I'm praying every single day. I hope they will let him travel to Italy at least several days before the concert. I don't know about London but I think the travel was quite last min before Royal Albert Hall's event and he didn't feel well.

Hi guys! I'm lurking on this forum for few years but only now I decided to join 😅. Probably i've met some of you in Berlin ( @TownerFanMaurizio I'm so glad you managed get the ticket at the end for Milano..that fan needs a statue) I have managed to see Williams in Vienna and Berlin where both were religious experiences, and still I can't believe I will probably will see him conducting in my home country in december. (I'm saying probably cos London is still a wound to heal 🤣). I'm quite emotional to be honest, mostly because I will have to share this experience with some of my best italian friends who always dreamed to see him live and now it's their first time. Looking forward to see you all there Ciaooo
