Y'know, if this Adele thing turns out to be true, they may well have the best charting Bond song since A View to a Kill.

Awesome! Hitchcock must be a dream project for Danny.

Well, it's not much, but it is news: the song "has a vocal."
(Found on a post in the CommanderBond.net forums)

Then what will he replace it with? A hook?

I was a little paranoid about missing this one, but fortunately it was up early enough this morning that I was able to order it before work.
Really curious to see the film, but I'm reluctant to pick up a used DVD because I feel like it could hit Blu-ray any time now. (Twilight Time, perhaps?)

While Summon the Heroes holds the first place among Williams Olympics output for me Olympic Fanfare and Theme is a rousing second.

Catch Me If You Can is coming to Blu-ray on December 4th.

So, is it common practice now for major movie campaigns to not let a single word slip about the movie's music or title song performer just few weeks before release?
This smells all very fishy.
It is odd. Makes one wonder if there's some Tomorrow Never Dies shenanigans going on.

With sarcasm is how.

So, I'll be going to this tonight.
Now to pick which CD to get signed...

I'd gladly trade a Star Wars or a Raiders March at a concert any day for Dracula or Eastwick.
Also, I was surprised to hear that Williams literally jerked them off. I didn't know he was into that. You'd think they'd be grateful for that, at least.

I'd be quite happy with Lady Gaga, actually.
Still kinda baffling that the album is less than two months out and we don't have even a clue yet (beyond some old Adele hints—but even if they were true, that doesn't mean she was a lock).

Dan Hedaya in Dick is easily my favorite Nixon. The film as a whole may be hit or miss (although I love the idea of it), but Hedaya was great.

I remember Phyllis Diller most from her Muppet Show appearance. Others may more likely know her from A Bug's Life or Family Guy.
May she rest in peace.

Yeah, gotta be Robopocalypse. Glad to hear JW's already planning on it.

I forgot to hit up my Best Buy early in the day. By the time I made it there, they were sold out—not just of the digibook, but of the blu-ray altogether. Guess I should've just stuck with Amazon.

Well, the first one's not Rachel Portman.

Just saw on the Digital Bits today that this film is going to rereleased on DVD soon in a set with 5 other films. (Amazon link.) And all I can find of substance on the forum here about it is this post where Omen II casts doubt that it's even the John Williams who wrote music for it. Anybody know any more about it? Seen the film? Heard the music in question?

A couple interesting Disney download releases not from Intrada: unused songs from from the soon-to-Blu-ray The Aristocats and The Rescuers. I wonder if this means anything in regards to the possibility of Intrada releasing these films' soundtracks.

Gotta be a TOS box. Between the 8 of the 11 film scores already expanded, the Ron Jones box, and LLL's TNG set, I don't see what else could be so "big".

...will be written and directed by Joss Whedon.
He's also developing the recently revealed Marvel TV series.

Yes, it is, although you can pick one up for $24 at the moment.
